I love the little buggers. And, they actually exist on Aryth! Sure, they're a mixture of Zardrix blood and goblin, but they exist!

True, they don't leave Zardrix's chambers beneath Theros Obsidia, but they do exist. I'm going to use one as Zardrix's last hope.
Quote
In Zardrix’s lair live a small host of human, orc, and kobold servants that care for those few biological needs that the dragon retains. These servants are the key to Zardrix’s plan for eventual freedom, and some of the kobolds have already begun to notice that their mistress mumbles in her sleep. Zardrix hopes to eventually be able to exercise full control over her body’s mouth while it sleeps, such that she might be able to give orders to the servants to aid in her eventual freedom.

The chief of that tiny kobold tribe will send his the second most favored kobold -- after himself -- on a mission. This mission is to deliver vital information of some sort to important people, who are likely to be closely connected to my PCs, if not the PCs themselves. He might also aid our dragonblooded channeler, who might just take the Leadership feat and gain him as a cohort.

Oh, did I mention that said channeler has a certain Night King's blood in her veins . . . ?

What do you guys think of Zardrix-that-was possessing a kobold? Think Izrador would notice? If the tiny sliver that is her last conscious remnant were to disappear, I'm not sure he'd notice. After all, if he knew it was there, he'd crush it. Thoughts?

Sorry, but I hate the whole kobold thing, so I'm ignoring their existence.

I kinda place orcs, oruks and goblins as the humanoids i want to use in my games, this also lessens the burden of adding levels to too many races and make Midnight less generic. Otherwise kobolds could be another variation of goblins, hobgoblins much like oruks to orcs and gnolls and bugbears weaker cousins to orcs too.

With Midnight my games have much less fantastic and supernatural beasts,a nd so much less use of Monster books, and a lot more leveled NPCs, be they orcs, human legates or goblins.

I like kobolds. Dunno why. If I use them, there'll be maybe 100-200 for Zardrix, and that's it.
