Idea for a character in my campaign

The Order of Dragon Knights:
The Witch Queen searches for those with draconic blood (dragonblooded heroic path), trains them at her famous Academy as Warrior Arcanists and teaches them something like the "Form of the Dragon" Spell from Pathfinder, in order to recreate, in some form, the Host of Dragons which pushed back the Shadow once before.


Some questions:
1) Do you generally like the Warrior Arcanist prestige?
2) Do you think the "form of the dragon" spell is too powerful? Maybe just wait for the character to be able to learn Shapechange after an epic quest?
3) Is the whole concept too cheesy and strange for Midnight?

Personally I've never enjoyed the warrior Arcanist class much. I believe Aradi to be more of a traditionalist when it comes to spell casting and I don't think she would train dragon blooded channelers as Warrior arcanists.

The problem that I have with the warrior Arcanist is the fact that in Midnight they get so much less benefit out of the warrior side because there are any medium bab classes.

 I do believe the ideas be a bit strange in Midnight.

The Concept could be good. As i dont know the Warrior Arcanist class i can not say anything to that. Generally this reminds me somewhat of the Dragonsoul Heir/ Dragonnblooded Warlock Prcs from DND 3.5th of 4th edition. So You could make it a fighter or channeler path. A hybrid of both would fluff wise be more fitting, but i dont know how to make it rule conforming.
