The dragon, Ysarix

Ysarix was a fearsome beast. Large and powerful even for her own dragonkind, she had very little love for the bipeds, the small folks. She hated Izrador with all her soul, but unlike her friend Zadrix, she cared very little about what happened to the elfs, dwarfs and other humans. Changing her appereance to meddle with human affairs was so behind her that she couldn't why other of her kind could do so.
Still she was a champion of the light and was cheered by the meaningless mortals.
Cheered but avoided in the battlefield for when fighting a worthy adversary, dragon or demon, she cared very little where a flaming breath might end should it miss its target.
Ysarix did not care about them, until this fateful day, the day she met the one who would become the house of the three bears.

A deceptively cunning demon, trapped Ysarix in the mountain one day. The demon wielded a huge axe and is flaming body was protected against Ysarix's breath. With little room to maneuver, Ysadrix was cornered against a great cliff when the demon got the better of her. She laid there stunned, the tip of her tail severed by the bloody axe, ready to die at the hand of this demonic foe. That's when the first spear hit the flaming giant. A group of a hundred men had followed the dragon and where now doing their best against the demon. It took a few minutes for the demon to butcher the brave and foolish men, but this slaughter gave Ysarix the opportunity to flee. While fleeing she took hold of her tail and of the last three surviving men.

From this day on she felt honor bound to this three men, and would follow and lead them for the remaining of their day. To be able to fight with these brave men, should crafted herself a breastplate and a longsword. For the breastplate she used her own scales, and the blade she made of mithral, dragonbone, dragonblood and fire. The core of the blade was made of dragonbone from her own tail.

What happened to her and her companions is lost but somewhere the blade still exist. But the blade needed blood constantly. Otherwise the dragonbone would sprout out and cover the whole length of the sword rendering it useless. Only dragonblood and fire can now revive this legendary sword, and give it back its edge.

The third companion, Azim Al'Kaari

Azim Kaari familly has always been on the losing side of things. His ancestors came with the Dorns to Erenland ages ago. But they were no true Dorn but Sarcosans who had tried to aid the Dorns in their escape to Erenland. In doing what they thought was right, they lost everything. Branded traitors by their own kind, they were forced to flee with the Dorns. The majority of the Dorns resentful of their ancient foes despised Azim's ancestors for generations, forgetting the crucial part they played in the Dorns escape to Erenland. So Azim Kaari grew up in his wandering tribe, avoiding Dorns war paties that were always eager to rape and steal. Azim has always been quick, if not wit of hands at least. Not overly strong, nor smart, he was considered quick as a cat and slippery as an eel. His Dorn grand father seeing  potential in the youngling taught him to fight with the only weapon he hmself mastered, the two handed great sword. And so began Azim skill at arms, trying to lift his grandfather huge greatsword, where anywhere else he would have been given dagger. But Azim was a very intense character and soon his skills improved, and he became a respected warrior in his tribe.
For years, the tribe moved and moved to avoid conflict and the roaming warbands. The signs of war were everywhere and great armies were massing. The time to rest and stelle were shorter and shorter for the tribe, until this day when a Dornish war band found them.

They were forty men, the tribe near a hundred. But the warriors stopped casually in front of the wanderers. A huge bald man, came forward on his great horse, obviously their Mohrr, their leader. He told them that they were coward, that their food should go to the warrior who defend them and that their women should breed new warriors instead of new cowards. The Mohrr was arrogant but obviously believed in the rightness of his words and the despicable cowardness of the tribe. Then three eager men in mail came forward to take three girls shielded by old men. When the first old man died, Azim greatsword came out of nowhere to cut the first man hand. Azim was a whirlind of death among the Dorn and soon the three men were dead at his feet and he was surrounded by five other Dorns. Seizing an opportunity Azim received a vicious cut while charging and beheading one of the Dorns. He then shouted a challenge and came face to face with the Mohrr. The duel that followed lasted for a few minutes. The Mohrr was a formidable warrior in his own right and Azim was already wounded. Still, after a few minute of clashing steel, the younger man took the advantage and in a heart beat the Mohrr was disarmed on the floor. Azim sword came down on the bald man in a vicious cut. Then his hand froze. All his body was frozen by some devilish trick. A young man, no more than 15 appeared from behind the Mohrr. His raising hand was pointed at him and shining dust was flowing from it. And so in this moment the three bears met each other, Azim Al'Kaari the Bladedancer, Ryk'on the Young and Efenburl the lone Mohrr.

Azim is a tall and slender man, with long dark hair that fall loosely on his shoulder. Shaved clean he is amazingly quick and move with phenomenous fluidity.

The Blade, Dragon Tail

The blade is a longsword made of mithral and dragonbone. It is a masterwork mithral longsword, lighter than usual. As a special quality the owner of the sword can use Weapon Finesse with it.

To be use the blade must sharpened. When left alone for too long the bone from blade will start to sprout and will eventually cover the whole blade. The blade looks like a deformed bone, spiky all over. The bone need blood to retract.
To sharpen the blade and make it useable, the owner must bath it in dragonblood for a week and then put it in an intense fire for a day. A dragonblooded character can use his blood instead of the blood of a dragon, but it will require an amount of fresh blood that might kill him. To bathe the sword in enough blood the character inflict on himself his Hit Dice in damage except one.
For example, if a character Hit Dices are : 3d8+4d10+3d10+2d8 he can remove one d10 and will roll 3d8+4d10+2d10+2d8 and take it as damage.

The blade must then be plunged into a blazing fire (a dwarf forge for example) for a day.

The blade do not work like most convenant item : Each time the blade drinks enough blood it gains a Blood Point. These Blood Point can then be used to activate the blades powers. The blade powers are unlocked at different level just like a normal convenant item.

Blood points can be gained using three ways :
Shower of Blood. Bring an opponent from standing and fighting to dead (-10) in one blow.
Bathing your Blade. Confirm a critical strike.
Sacrifice of the Dragon. Inflict 1d8+4 damage to a friendly dragon blooded character.

Self-inflicted damage cannot be healed magically.
The max number of blood point is character level/2.
All effects last for 5 round + character level.

1st level One blood point provides a +1 enhancement bonus
3rd level One blood point provides two extra speel point to be used immediatly
5th level Two blood point provide the keen attribute to the sword
7th level Two blood point provide the flaming attribute to the sword
9th level Blood of the Dragon When you get the flaming attribute, you can use the SE gained from the dragonblooded path to fuel the fire, adding 1d6 to fire damage per SE spent that way for a round. You cannot use the SE gained with the 3rd lvl ability to do that.
11th level One blood point provides a +2 enhancement bonus
16th level Three blood point allow the user to become immune to fire and cold

The crypt, The resting blade

Deep beneath the earth, south of Baden Bluff, lies a forgotten crypt. The crypt has two entrance one the West another to the East. A huge network of tunnel, mainly collapsed give access to this crypt, long lost remains of previous ages.

The crypt doors cannot be opened by anyone unless they spill dragon blood on the seal. Once inside, the huge cavern is brightly light by an ingenious system of gems, mirrors and strangely glowing stone. The cavern wall and ceiling seems to glow and beautifull reflections can be seen everywhere. The cavern is large enough to make a small camp for ten person and their animals. The stone floor is a mosaic, looking exactly like a bright colored carpet, depicting a battle scene. The feeling of peace is obvious in this place, and sleep in this cavern is filled with beautiful dream.

In the center of the crypt, on a pedestral, is a sarcophagus. The carved image of the man is on the sarcophagus lid and there is no evident way to open it. Surrounding it are three stone sharp pyramids. The tip of each pyramid is a slightly glowing crystal. When one of the crystal is touched, the crypt seems to disapear and suddenly a scene of the dead man life spring to life. The first scene depicts the way Azim met the other two companion. The second scena depicts how the three men met the dragon lady. When touched the third crystal changes the room to what seems and obvious battlefield.
The lone Mohrr is at Azim's feet, unconscious and dying. A dozen orcs lie dead there in the mud, and three huge Oruk came charging at the obviously wounded man. Moving with grace and precision Azim quickly dispatch the the first two Oruks when the third one's mace make contact with Azim leg in a sickening crush. Battling to keep on his feet, Azim manages to wound the Oruk and make him fall back to the approaching line of orcs. When all seems lost two fireballs explode in the rear of the orc war band and Azim charges the remaining Oruk with a smile on his face.
When Ryk'on and Ysarix found them Azim was lying protectively over Efenburl, shielding his wounded Mohrr with his dead body.

The crypt was created by Ryk'on the Mage and Ysarix to guard their friend, brother and lover's body for eternity.

The crypt is under the constant effect of a circle against shadow spell. Sleeping in the crypt will double normal regeneration for good character, and triple it for dragonblooded character.
The crypt door cannot be open in any way except with blood from a dragon or dragonblooded character.

This looks very interesting, Kuenor. I know english isn't your first language, but it is pretty hard to read, and some parts of it seems totally unrelated to the others: there's a paragraph talking about some guy called Aim, who nevre gets mentioned again, for example. It's very confusing, and lacks a consistent flow.

I love the sword's activation requirements, very steep. You could simplfy the way it's written by saying the blood-sacrifice is equal to a Harm spell. You don't mention how often it must be sharpened.

Blood point are interesting, but I don't understand the abilities. Do you have to spend BP to activate them? How long do they last?

Nice blade for a dragonblooded character... Reminds me of L5R's infamous Bloodswords  Grin

I'm waiting for the next piece, about the other two "bears" (heroes) and their story with the dragon.

Keep writing about this, Kuenor!

Ooops my bad, Aim is of course Azim (small typo here don't hang me yet !!!) and the paragraph is not in the right place it should be at the end on the paragraph about .. Azim Smiley
I added it afterward, but in the wrong place, I'll edit it to make it more readable ...

Ok now, I'm sure that this part, I explained :p

What I might have added is that the blood point are used when activating a power ...

Sorry if I'm hard to read, but please do correct me .
