As much as I see this town on maps, just south of Low Rock, I have not been able to find any information about it.  I'm just looking to see if I somehow have missed something.  As far as I can tell, the only that is known is that the town falls under control of the Black Spear tribe but is at the very southern edge of it.

Other than that I can find nothing in all the supplements of Midnight that I have.

I imaging that the town as of 99LA is under loose control of the Black Spears and is used as a staging area to scout around the dwarven controled village of Garol.  Once Calador falls Kardoling will become the next place for a majority of the Black Spears to hold up as they get sent south to complete the defeat of the dwarven race.

Albert has managed to write something about this.
You can find the file (.rtf) and the comments about it, there:

Dain, thanks for the heads up.  Sometimes I think AtS is too good to be true.  Grin

Actually Kardoling is mentioned (albeit very briefly) in both MN2 and Hammer. The content of those few lines of text however can be summarized as following:
-Kardoling is a ruin
-12000 orcs are stationed there, black spear tribe, presumably to cut off dwarven reinforcements from the south
-the chieftain of the black spear tribe, Galaak, is in low rock
-Kardoling marks the southern edge of the territory Galaak commands

The rest of what I wrote is made up, but I tried keeping it in line with the rest of the setting. Enjoy the article.
