Wondering if there's anyone here who plays both M&M (Green Ronin's highly modified, d20-based superhero system, probably the Greatest System Ever) and MN.
I'm pretty sure Harrowed does, for one.

I love Green Ronin's system. My years of gaming have shown me that the only thing harder to do than supers is horror.
The damage mechanic in M&M is so goddamn brilliant that after reading it for the first time I had to hit my head and wonder why the hell I didn't think of that.

I have both, though have yet to play M&M its one of those that our group has, and keeps coming back when discussing what we will do next. (i think the main put off is that one of us is very maticulus in thier characters and can easily take a full session generating a normal character for D&D or L5R)
One thing i would recomend for character generation is the use of a free trial for City of Heroes, and the use of the character creation there for them to design their costumes. Then dont allow them to pick their super hero name, but have the group pick there name based on the outfit and powers. (as most are named through the media anyway)
darn it i now really want to play...

I'd love to play a M&M game.
I doubt it would have happened with the previous group (some people not interested in a Supers game, and both me and the other GM of the group aren't sure we could pull it off);
...and current group won't play... becuase there is no current group

Oh, Kevperrine plays M&M too, of course. Though that's a bit of an undertatement... he produces awesome, deeply-written M&M campaigns like other men produce hot air
The reason I ask is that I have a hankering to run a game MN. I've been running a sologame of MN using M&M (with a few modifications, like a spell energy system and more vicious damage) for a while now, and it seems dandy... so I was checking if there were enough people familiar with this setting and that rules system to make it viable.

I'm familiar with True20, and while I know its not exactly M&M it is still very similar... i can get my hands on the M&M 2e book.
In short: I'd be interested.
And while we are at it, how is running a MN game with M&M? How and what changes did you make? (you might remember my TrueMidnight conversion. That is why I'm interested)

Set it at a low PL, used the MN skill list, and introduced a modified energy point system (from the Mastermind's Manual) for spell energy. I might need to make a few more changes for a larger game, but nothing too major.

Boy, if you're talking a PbP, don't even ask ... I'm in.
Oh, and in case you missed it. My 'Under a Pale Grey Sky' PbP staggered and crashed.

You can thank Arnon and Berova for that. They kept it going through short lived players. Berova fell off and that just left Arnon.
Shame it happened, he and I both enjoyed that game.
