Looks as if FFG finally updated their upcoming products page, and Destiny of Shadow looks to be at the printers!
IIRC, it's usually 5-6 week lead time before we should see it on store shelves.

Well,I posted a news item before I saw you report this, but I always check FFG's website anyway, unless I am mistaken it is a bit more to get the books, specially at this time of the year, they also have to send it to distributors after getting it so i would guess we will be seeing it in about 2 months from now. But I hope you are right and i am wrong.
So far we have no word on future Midnight releases, I don't like this silence as we have never had this before, with Rob out of FFG this may be the new reality, but I believe we won't see much of Midnight until Midnight Chronicles is released, maybe after that somethign will be done.
I still want a Dorn sourcebook, at the very least.

Nice news, even if nothing else seems to be planned for the next months.
I hope that the Midnight Chronicles will launch other books in the future. Otherwise, it would be sad for the Midnight line. And as Nif said, there are still much to be depicted.

Great, soon it'll be here then. I'm looking forward to this, finally something on erenlanders.

Sourcebook about resistance organisations
I guess Under The Shadow was supposed to cover that, sort of. I think we'll see all the race-books before we see another generel insurgent book at least.

Under the Shadow as supposed to cover Baden's Bluff and the resistance found there, as an example of a city thriving with resistance, but it is quite unique if you look at how it is formed and organized.

FFG has updated their upcoming products again and
Destiny
looks to be at status "On the Boat". A good sign it will be shipping soon, and on store shelves in weeks.
I hope we hear more about the upcoming product releases for 07, as Rob has stated to Nif.

Update:
It looks as if FFG will be making some sort of update available on
Destiny of Shadow
as they have tagged the upcoming section with a jewel, which they indicate will link to some type of information. Since right now it only goes to the main Midnight page, I would assume the update is forthcoming...

They usually do that before they make a product page for the book.

We're getting even closer to the release!
(sorry, I've really been craving more "official" Midnight material)

I'm not the kind of person who gets in a huff when there are a few spelling and grammar mistakes in an RPG supplement (though contradictions in the setting can be far more irksome), but I have noticed such errors cropping up more often. I don't recall ever seeing them years ago, but of late I've seen them in many of the books I've bought (and, of course, on websites) ; FFG, Green Ronin, even WotC, which is usually pretty good at editing.
I wonder if it's a symptom of a greater reliance on spellchecking software: if the machine slips up and lets 'bakc' through the net, everyone assumes it's been properly checks and doesn't bother giving it a second look over.
Still. Looking forward to Destiny and Shadow

I think they don't use multiple proofreaders anymore. Which is a shame.

Just picked it up tonight. Here's the skinny of the Table of Contents:
>Intro
Way of the People
Lay of the Land
>Chapter One
The Time of Years
The Human Invasions
The Kingdom Forms
Birth of a New Race
Fall of the Kingdom
The Last Age
>Chapter Two
The Westlands
Lands and People
Governance
The Shadow
...
The Resistance
...
The Eren and Ardune
Erenhead
Low Rock
The Eastern Hills
>Chapter Three
Variant Erenlander Traits
Variant Erenlander Backgrounds
Prestige Classes
Covenant Items
New Feats
The Soulreaved
>Appendix
The Coming Storm
And for those of you worried about the Blackweir part dominating the book - rest your fears, it's barely two columns (about a half page) of information.
From cursory examination, it looks pretty good.

@Nif:
Lead Developer (big surprise) Rob Vaughn
Writing and Art Director: Jarl Irgens, Tony Manero, Eric Olson and Rob Vaughn
Artists: Dave Kendall, Michel Koch, Alex McVey, Christophe Swall, Frank Walls
@Glacialis:
I haven't had much time to read it thoroughly yet, but the Pale Legate Prestige Class looks interesting for one wanting to play a redeemed (or, more accurately, one in the process of being redeemed) Legate. The background and variant traits are much the same as in Stars and Shadow - just with an Erenlander focus.
I have the book available, so I'll do my best to answer any questions.
