I can test the archive site on my current *nix box but I can't have it up for more than an hour or so. I'm going to be playing with it to get it converted to SMF, but I absolutely cannot afford to host it. We'r elooking at a 250mb-300mb SQL dump.

Anyone?

I think that will be an issue, really, it is damn large thing there, if anyone can help, please speak, even if you can't host it yourself we woul like to know what we can try to get thins out of there again.

Hmm, I will see if my father's space can handle it, I guess I must have MySQL and at least 200Mb of space, anything else?

An installation of SMF, whatever the latest release version is. I'll export from that and you'd need to do an import. By the by, it's 200mb of database -- meaning memory.

The latest release version is 1.1 Final, importing the thing is what I will have to check, not certain at all, since I am certain it is a shared server, but i will see anyway. I might also see if a friend can do something to help me in that extent, since he is a very knowledged person in servers and all things computers (he is a capacitated Oracle programmer too).

But that will take at least 20 or so days, since he marries tomorrow and then goes on honey moon...
