"Inch towards daylight"

« on: June 04, 2017, 02:01:50 AM »

Has anyone ever done extended campaigns in the Kaladrun Mountains before? More specifically, what are your thoughts on what occurred with Idenor?

The descriptions given are vague and ominous at best. 80 years ago, sometime around the year 19 LA (Last Age) Idenor was wracked by a powerful earthquake. No survivors found. Channelers claiming that a dark and ominous power is seeping up from the flooded depths of the flooded city. Even Izrador's minions dare not go there. Pretty spooky.

Hiding from Shadow

Check M2E page 347 , Griffith Donne... There's a hint. I personally don't like it, but that's all the "official" explanation I have found in all the Midnight books that were released. Hope this helps.

Wow, I see what you mean about that Smeagol. That doesn't even make a whole lot of sense given the context and seclusion of the area. I was expecting something else.

After some more thought on that I have to say I will not be using that excerpt in any game I run. It will be something else entirely. Older and darker.
