Hi All,

So as a brief background, there is an Open Source software called PcGen which (as it's name implies) is a PC generation tool that is dynamic enough to create PC's based on a multitude of 3.0, 3.5 (and now 5.0) sources. And now, the latest version includes the Midnight 2nd Ed campaign source book Grin

The latest stable version can be downloaded here https://sourceforge.net/projects/pcgen/?source=typ_redirect. Once opened you can create your Midnight character by selecting the 'Advanced' tab, showing '3.5e' games and then adding the 'Dungeons & Dragons Revised (v.3.5) System Reference Document' (base source) and 'Midnight - Campaign Source Book'.

The source is still in beta and still requires a good amount of testing to iron out the rule mechanics. You can reply with any questions/bugs and I will attempt to fix when I can. Thanks everyone for your assistance with this Smiley

This is extremely cool!

I've been a PCGen user for a long time (first d20, then Pathfinder) both as a player and for creating NPCs as a GM. I've even wanted to port Midnight to PCGen myself, but at the time couldn't figure out how to do it.

But, I have decided never to GM a d20/PF so i will not be using it i guess. I will take a peak if i have some free time.

Can we add some races like the sharisil which appeared in the TOS 2?

Great.

Some problems:
channel spells: there is no level limiting or "per day" cast for the count with the channeler class but spell energy pool.

Tried to make a level 1 barbarian orc on there and the feat it adds and refuses to let go of is eschew materials.
I tried three characters and it did the same thing every time.


I hope thats fixable because this could be very very useful.

This type of thing is a labor of love and I wanted you to know I appreciate your work.
