... ... Oh wow... now that was completely unexpected! I did not expect three critical attacks to be rolled on one round.

Both the Fell were destroyed by party attacks, and unfortunately... due to it being exclusively specified that Halflings were the target of the Hellhound, it attacked and with the natural 20 it rolled enough damage which went straight to wounds and it killed Xein, who is an Elfling. While they are different, Elflings aesthetically take after Halflings. The Hell hound did it's job and broke no rule according to anything.

The Hellhound believes it will be returning to spirit form in the Grey Lands having a job well done. I wonder if Rash'Gar has anything to say about that.

Remember, death is not necessarily the end for a PC the first time. Fell exist in the world.

RashGar has his attacks coming. I am away from my computer until tomorrow night. I will post a reaction as soon as you post IC what happened.

Yeah, that was definitely not something I'd seen coming either.

I'm kind of upset for multiple reasons right now, I'm at work with a dual screen setup on my computer and I was almost done with my IC post and then I got interrupted with a call. I hit a button that normally brings up a systems test page on the right screen but it was still on the ATS screen and it refreshed the page before I'd saved so I've lost my post.

Even as Rash'Gar prepares to tear the Hell-hound to shreds, I am curious to see how Aliya will respond to what just happened as well. Will you admonish it, dismiss it properly, let it die? Oh the possibilities!

RashGar is planning to attack the hound in a furious rage. An all out attack. I won't be home until tonight to post all the attack rolls and such.

If something else happens, such as the hound disappearing. He will let out a frustrated howl and then move to check on his brother.

Oh, the hell-hound will absolutely disappear when it runs out of hit points.

I will say that if it survives your initial onslaught, Aliya will have a chance to respond. However that is.

@ester: Sorry  that was an OT error of mine .Halflings and Elflings were different ienough in my view.

How is Xein. I Take out my Obsidian Dagger and attak. Roll: Rolling "Attak" : 1d20 + 9

It is not very obvious to those who have never seen them before. Elflings more resemble their their Halfling side, they just tend to be 3-6 inches taller. Also Hell hounds, while remarkably intelligent for a beast, are not actually all that bright.

It was at 3rd level but it's based off of your character level. So even though you received it then, you are still treated as an equal level path user.

Ah, something that hasn't been mentioned in a long time, Rash'Gar, your Karma is effectively another Stat, with the same modifiers and everything, it just goes up and down a lot more as it's used. You can always check out the major rules changes thread for a more in-depth rules lining. That being said;

Rash'Gar: You still got above a 20 which results in a dramatic success. Lower your overall Karma score by -2.
Xein is in fact, still alive. More than that, your bond deepens. You gain another Teamwork feat with him.

Sionna: You got a full success. Lower your overall karma score by -2 as well.
Once your fury clears for your character, something good will happen. You will find that this particular spirit you have rebuked for its crimes, it is intrinsically tied to your will. You may, should you wish, command this disembodied spirit and give it instructions within 100 feet of you. You could also utterly destroy it at any time. For all that Izrador is The Evil God, he is also a god of Law, and this lowly spirit sought to undermine the pact that one of his favored servants had made with it.
- Mechanically you gain what amounts to a disembodied spirit as a bonus companion and the True name of this spirit (You get to name it, or I could if you want.)

In addition you both spot something very interesting. An Orc, lashed to a stake in a clearing some 150 yards out.

Some questions and such.

For Rash'Gar,Xein,Flit & Wisp - Is it possible for them to all spend a point in Language to have been learning to communicate with hand signals and gestures? Sort of a Silent Tongue (Maybe call it Wildlanders Tongue)

For the Rash'Gar/Xein Teamwork Feat, here are some possibilities I was looking at, I would like any perspective from you per Xein.

Duck & Cover
Exceptional Aid (Only if you consider Bonded Mind as the same as their mental connection)
Lookout
Scion of the land
Outflank
Trade Initiative

I also plan on giving Flit & Wisp Wildlander for the next level.

I like the way this foursome is coming together as an elite scouting unit. The Pack of the Beast.

Oh, good. As i am modifying my book of shadows entry  with the level up i will lower my karma. Sorry for my wacky shedule, the extremely hot and cold weather here in Germany makes me sick. Ic post tomorrow.
