[WIP] Mapping Atlas of Aryth

Hi guys,
My move to switzerland is at last well finished and I can go back to mapping.
I decided this time not to map Eredane only but to take the opportunity to flesh out the unknown/ other continents.
The idea behind that is to possibly write something about 2nd age and a big storyline mainly involving the fact that getting the big picture of what's happening with Izrador and the rest of Aryth, clues of what to do to save Eredane may lay on the other continents. This is why Izrador tended to lessen knowledge at its strict minimum: To prevent people to know the keys to defeat him once and for all.

Yes I have always though about useing this as a second arch when I start my own campaign. Though frankly I always thought that adding more world space should not lead to the shadows fall but only add more trouble for the PC's. If you give them a solution that is located on another place they just had no idea exsisted then it feels a bit too much like Deus Ex Machina.
In my mind the old Sarcosan kingdom would be an awsome place to travel to. Perhaps it has been ruined by a demigod of madness or some other aspect of evil. A chaotic evil that runs against the grain of the shadows lawfull evil. Having the PC's be stuck between a rock and a hard place while making them eather side with ether the evil they know or the one they don't.

My most recent campaign featured the old Sarcosan lands in depth. The party had a Seer who had been receiving visions of a massive boat that was to arrive at the Eastern Coast in a year's time. The party had to make their way there, and see what was so pressing. Come to find out, the whole Eastern Continent has been subjugated by a very large (like 9 feet tall or so) warrior race. The remaining Sarcosans are a slave race. These people live in a Caste system, and their mages had been in contact with Izrador's legates for some time. They were sending an envoy to meet and talk with both representatives of the Dark God, as well as resistance leaders. The party had to then convince certain leaders to come out of hiding and talk with these people, as they were willing to side with whoever offered them the best chance at a good fight. The party never found out which way the decision went, but it was a very fun political game. Hard to even FIND resistance leaders, let alone convince them to talk to a strange new race. The players said they were actually content not knowing what happening, as leaving it to the imagination seemed appropriate.

I would agree with you most of the time but what if you knew the whole thing, the whole story about what's really happening to Aryth, Izrador and so forth. Then it would be possible to run some adventures in different areas and make the PCs being able to play a role in keeping knowledge and take it back to Eredane.
I have in mind writing a bunch of adventures that have impact throughout the ages, not necessary involving players traveling across the sea (well, not taking into account the fact that I would love to write something about the Exodus ...)
For now, I just focus on the maps

What would be a great ending to a a game is if the players had to work incredibly hard to get to one of these other continents and at the end they find that this other place found a way to escape Aryth and they... did. Just up and left, with no clue as to how. Ether that or all died while trying.
