That would be a fairly terrifying prospect, but not totally inconceivable. The Mentalist Heroic Path from the 1st edition book grants Detect Thoughts at 3rd level as well as a number of other fairly interesting Psionic abilities.

As for the words written in Blacktongue I had thought about writing them out loud, but decided that would make Xein sound crazy so I instead wrote them as Skindancer hearing what Xein was saying and stating the facts in his mind.  Edited my post to hopefully make this more clear.

What sort of supplies does the camp have?

In your size, the armory has goblin gear. Mostly rusty sharp things with leather wrapped handles, spears, throwing irons and  leather armor.

Other than that they have basic medical supplies and a whole lot of construction supplies and building tools.

What were you wanting?

I was hoping for rope and some climbing gear since we're going to be doing a intelligence gathering mission.  Although since Goblins are such naturally good climbers, I doubt there would be any of that in my size.  Also between the construction supplies and medical equipment could I possibly make some sort camoflauge to better blend in with the rocks.  If not that then if they've been burning wood for cooking fires Xein would take the ash.

Xein, there is Grak sized climbing gear. You can use it just fine. Not much in the way of camouflage though. You'll have to make your own.

All right then, climbing gear check.   Now in addition to ash, I need either plant material to be ground up or lacking that some sort of dark, paint like substance to mix it together.  Orc and Goblin blood is black right?  Xein is going to need some of that, also mixing it up with mud or dirt.  Xein will then spend some time mixing it to get a good consistency to match the surrounding areas, adding water as necessary.

I also recommend that anyone else planning on doing the recon mission grab any climbing gear and speak with Xein about camouflaging  themselves.
