At this point it's your show guys. Skinner's not going to talk unless addressed. I'm going to give you until friday, or until you get all the necessary info out, whichever comes first, and then I'm bringing in Xein and Rash.

Ok. So a few clarification questions.

1. Do I know any of these people, even by reputation alone? We both know of Roycilo's actual calling; how much is he likely to reveal to these folks here if questioning leads him to need to prove his loyalties?

2. As Roycilo is a wandering legate, what are the odds he has ever encountered active resistance members before? Considering what he does for a living, it is very likely he has kicked over a few rocks they've been hiding under, but at the same time, he isn't a resistance hunter either.

3. How famous is he in these parts? I imagine in some circles he is considered a very successful man of his employ, but a total unknown in others.

4. I never gave him traits. I still need to do that. Also, I apparently never factored in the Stern Gaze class feature, which would raise his Intimidate and Sense Motive checks a point each. I will update that shortly. I have to confirm I factored in my favored class benefit also (I took skill points). I have a much better grasp of Pathfinder now than I did when he was written.

5. If you remember, I took Astriax companion back at the beginning of the game. It hasn't really come into play, but if a gnoll (being part Wogren) bursts into the room, it may come into play, depending on how close the companion is. I honestly haven't decided if Roycilo knows he has been granted a companion yet, but that could be a fantastic way to find out. Just a thought.

As he's not actually a standard preacher, and considering his Inquisitor levels, I am considering the Unsanctioned Detection feat from Ultimate Magic. First off, can I sacrifice uses of my other alignment detections to fuel the uses of this feat, as each of the four alignments is a separate spell-like ability? Along those same lines, also Judgement Surge and/or Insightful Gaze.

1. Sir Riddar, maybe. He's a bit of an outcast in the Bluff (they don't like soldier legates there). You canhave heard of him if you like. Kael probably not.

2. You might have come across a few sympathizers or habitual lawbreakers (active dissenters) but probably not anyone part of anything organized.

3. This is obviously the first time he's been through redwind/swift water. You can decide where his usual routes are.

4. Good catches. Go ahead and update him.

5. I think I'll have you not have it yet. I have an idea for that.

6. I dont have the book yet so I'm not familiar with all of the new options. I'm going to withhold judgement for now. Remind me again in a few weeks.

An small animal-man just burst through the door. Go ahead and think of this as a surprise round. Post your reactions however you'd like, but keep them witting the bounds of about three seconds worth of time.

Things can go back to normal after this, but fir now go ahead and showcase how your character reacts to surprises and potential danger.

Tell you what, I was going to start a new scene tomorrow, but I'll hand it off to you. Just frame the scene with a heading like I do, and give a short description of your perceptions of the surroundings.

Your choices are either the stables to retrieve horses or on the road racing toward the cove.

I'm assuming Riddar and I had horses when we came to Lord Skinner's manor, yes?

also, from the large bay window, how far away does the cove appear to be?

You both have horses. Illustrian doesn't, but he can get one in the stables.

The cove is about a quarter mile away. Pretty close on horses.

So, based on what I know about skinner, I made some assumptions in my description of what the stables would have. (lots of horses, and nice ones at that)
if that's an incorrect deduction let me know and I'll edit it, or anything else you need fixing.

Roycilo has been sort of thrown into this, and while certain remarks made have piqued his interest, he isn't about to go galloping off. He's a lover, not a fighter. At least that is what he wants people to think. He may have a question or two for Skinner before he leaves, as everything is moving really fast, and he has no idea what to think.
