Randomly around for a while

Guys and girls,

I ahve been facing some pretty bad speed issues with my dsl connection for about a week now, today we finally got around to the provider and they sent a technician here after making some tests, it seems our house wiring is the source of a lot of packet loss and CRC errors, making speed go down to a crawl.

On this wednesday we will have someone look into the actual source of the problem by chasing it through the many phone sockets we have, roughyl 2 per room amounting to at least 12, probably 15 or so. After wednesday we will then see how fast we can fix the thing, but right now we are still uncertain.

Result is that I ahve been very randomly around, mostly because the site will not load at all at times, and at others take 10 or even minutes to load a page. I still have to work on a lot of articles that are pending approval, upload the od download contents to the new site and make sure you guys get as good an admin as possible, so i will do my best to be here, but may not find the chance at all.

Thought you would have to know.

It seems everything is fine now, though it all happened as close to how computers behave in front of a technician, the man came here and the line was without a single noise, then we had to see if there was anything that could have been causing the noise, even though it was not there, we removed my father's old modem from the phone line and then the technician went away, it seems to be all okay since then, even though there is a noise on the phone line right now, it cam back about an hour after he went away...

I jsut hope it stays like this.
