Due to the altered circumstances, namely the retreat of the SVC#1 ... who still have fighting spirit, they've just started to crack under the weight and retreated, and the Held status of the SVC#1's commander Gruntal, I'll give people a day or two to potentially change actions.

A Held commander is not the sort of opportunity that I'd let slide but I'm not going to change characters actions that much.

I have added Sareth`s usually memorized spells to his entry in Rogues Gallery, since I have only put it in the old IC post before( I have changed Command for Cure Light Wounds, by the way). I also added his alignment, Lawful Evil, though some players didn`t put it in their entries. How do you treat alingment, Harrowed?

I generally don't use it. The spells are there, the ones that effect alignments but I judge them on a case by case basis. Little more difficult to do in a tabletop game but too rough for a PbP.

Amara's not brave enough to go piling in to tackle the enemy commander, even if he is isolated for a few moments.

She'll stay out on the edge of the fight, joining in a renewed attack on the Steel Virgin crew if Taleel and her followers charge, but feeling rather too badly hurt and vulnerable to do anything on her own.  With four foes dropped already, she thinks she might be able to claim to have done her fair share already. Wink

As the fight moves further from him, Sareth will move to the Steel Virgin deck. If Amara retreats a bit, and my wolf can attack Gruntal in one turn he will do it, and I may cast a Cure Light Wounds spell on Amara if I get to her.

(I hope it is not too confusing if I state my actions in both OOC and IC thread, especially that the situation is flexible and I want to cover several rounds.)

Amara delays, insuring that the CSC advances. Once they do she wades in and assaults another crewman with less success then past rounds
Grrrak, the thresher, cuts down another two SVC crew. In case anyone is wondering Grrrak alone is adding a 3 point modifier to the SVC#1 morale saves.
CSC advances, and attacks. They inflict even more damage against the SVC#1 who almost panic, which would have been dropping weapons and either surrendering or retreating, but manage to recover just barely.
One more round before the SVC commander can take control ... wait ... he's not long for this world thanks to Shelg. A command determination will have to be made.
Shelg pulls out the big rolls and parks a serious critical to Grundal's head, insuring the the big guy is out of the fight ... hopefully ... and dead shortly.
Sareth takes a shot at Gruntal but due to his heavy armor barely scratches the large Orc.
Fiendish wolf keeps the pressure off Amara's flanks but fails to do any damage.

Nah, that was just the verbage I used. I would have put the mechanics in the OOC discript otherwise. Besides, he doesn't have that much of his wits about him. Not after Shelg's arrow spread his wits on the deck.

Well, if Amara allows it, Sareth will cast Cure Light Wounds on her... but it will be followed with Detect Thoughts.( I assume she has no arcane knowledge to understand what magic I am using. I wil pretend that it is part of healing or I am trying to cast some offensive spell.).

Could my astrirax check whether there are any magic items at the enemy ship?

Amara'll accept the healing - but as soon as the pain goes away, her defences'll be back up.  She is, after all, right next to a great deal of violence and isn't exactly feeling relaxed and at ease.

Of course, with her mighty Will save of -1, that probably doesn't mean a lot. Tongue


She would follow up the fleeing crew, but the chance to be healed is not to be passed up, and will delay a few moments to accept the offer, though most of her attention will remain on the fighting in case she needs to respond....


Oh: if Amara's injured foe is fleeing, should she get an attack of opportunity against him?  It's not vital (we can easily enough say her luck stayed to its current form and she missed), just a query.

Would it be an apropariate thing to sacrifice some prisoners to Izrador, Harrowed?

By the way, if Amara seems to be busy, Sareth will wait with engaging her in conversation after she is out of combat( so post IC reply when you are ready).
