Hi all,

I've not posted in a long while, but I am starting to think Midnighty again and I am trying to think of ways to bring a party together in Baden Bluff, before becoming friends with Dunkin of Clan Durgis, and Wendell Gale and heading off on an elongated version of Crown of Shadow. So what im looking for i guess is a way to bring the characters, who are as yet undecided, together and maybe a side adventure or two. I have tried to think of something but nothing seems Midnighty enough for my liking.

Thanks in advance

Hey Kilgore,

Welcome back.

What about the standard "all captured as slaves headed for the slave pits" theme?  You could even play out the captures as the opening scenes for each individual.  Maybe the convoy gets ambushed by freeriders, they are freed, and smuggled by gnomes (Wendell) to a save haven where they meet Dunkin?

Good luck,
