Does anyone play it?

I recently acquired a CS 1.6 server. It's a clean server, lots of younger kids on it. Trying to build a regular player base, so if you have a CS 1.6 account, check out the server and play some CS.

Never played CS was never a great fan of shooters myself, but having recenly played Bioshock 1 and 2 I wonder if I would like Cs as well.

I play CS for for action.
I have been playing a little bit of battlefield bad company 2, that is more of a thinking game. CS can be, but usually in a pub (public server) it's everyone out for themselves.

I am zero competitive, I never cared for PvP in any game I played, soudns like it is not at all the thing for me.

pretty much the same here. I'm more drawn to the co-op stuff In WoW i pretty much only like the instances. In Halo, I really only like the team games.

CS is supposed to be a team game. Terrorists against Counter Terrorists.

Yeah, but it's just too twitchy for me. Not my style. At the time others were playing Counter Strike I was playing Marathon, so I never got used to the super fast pivots and turns that it requires to get good. I always get blindsided.
