Hi guys! I've always been here... mostly lurking, but never too far.   Wink

I'm finally running my fourth Midnight campaign, which will end a trilogy centered around the whisper. But for now, it's only the beginning, and it's high-flying time.
And I need your creative help.

PCs are climbing up to the highest peak of the Highhorn mountains... heading for the Glacier Keep.
Silverthorn elves sent them, because they lost contact with a sect of snow witches who manned the nexus there and delivered magical items to the fighting erunsil.
They have a Whisper Adept coming along with them, so they can keep some contact with the Snow of Silverthorn.

I will immensely appreciate any suggestions on possible interesting encounters up there on the icy valleys and ranges.

This is my idea: the witches have been so long distant from anyone, they started a sort of hermit lifestyle and way of thinking.
Secluded from the rest of the world, far away both from the war-torn taiga and from the Shadow influence, they eventually started to refuse even the slightest hint that could remember them of the suffering.
These weary sociopaths abandoned their brothers and sisters, but -PCs will discover- their mind has been led astray by the influence of some powerful creature. I thought of a white dragon, an anchorite of sorts himself.

And in the end, they might have chosen to cut off their contact with the erunsil to keep them safe from the dragon. I'd like if no one is really guilty, no black and no white, everybody is gray...
