I have great news to all Midnight fans around, this month the domain name was renewed and after being left hanging because of spoof mails using the domain I contacted my host and we tested it for the issue.

It is with great happiness that I deliver the news that www.againsttheshadow.org is back in business and already working, the current domain (www.againsttheshadow.net) will be kept around as well, the site will respond to both.

In the coming days I will make a full backup of the site and its files and change the main domain from .net to .org again.

Never despair in the face of adversity, for the shadow may be eternal, but her forces are not endless.

Woohoo! This address, I can remember.

If you're interested Nif, the registrar I use is excellent. They support is out of this world, beyond any other registrar I have ever used. They worked with me for three weeks straight to recover a domain I thought I lost, which permanently endeared me to them. They're not a large company but they seem to be doing well for themselves.

Doesn't hurt to get the reference, the problem with the .org was that spammers were using @againsttheshadow as spoof to send mails, the sheer number of them (more than 30 thousand a day) was crashing the server, thus my host told me I could either disable the domain or take it elsewhere.

Don't think anyone could help with that, I am just an advanced user and can easily mask my address as something else if I want.

And Todd, never went away just used a .net domain instead
