Awesome, thanks for sharing!!! What software are you using to draw this, Dain?

I use Photoshop with a graphic tablet.
But everything is handmade. It's quite time consuming and I'm currently giving a try at Google Sketchup.
I believe you're gonna love the outcome. It's just amazing ^^

I'm proud to say I'm actually drawing many (let's say 10+, possibly 20+) arts for MN and it's not for an adventure of mine, nor for a french one. The adventure is huge and, cherry on the cake, in english.

Is there an estimated time for project completion? Will the adventure be designed for PFRPG, or D&D 3.5?

The adventure is actually finished and is just waiting for illustrations and maps. I'm doing my best but drawing 20+ illustration takes time.

A date? well, pretty much once the arts are done which means you know which butt you need to kick now ...

No butt kicking required. I understand how hard it must be to complete a project like this while having a job/life.

I'm just happy that we're likely to see a new, and likely high quality, fan-made product at some point in the future and that it will be worth the wait.

Are you able to tell us who the authors are? Are they members of this community?

The one and only writer, if I'm not mistaken, is Tony "Alwyn" Manero. All credits should go to him
He is not only a member of this community but also one of the authors of Honor and Shadow, Destiny and Shadow and the stillborn Veil of Shadow even. Nothing less
Quality is there, no doubt about it.

I'm only taking care of the maps and formatting. We'll keep you informed along the way.
My fingers are craving for drawing and there will be sketches to share, either taken into consideration or rejected.

Thanks for sharing this absolutely inspiring image… I can't believe this "didn't get through"! Although I absolutely love having access to these images you make for free, you should maybe pitch some of your work to a third party publisher like Raging Swan Games, so you might at least make a little bit of money for your efforts. One of the guys in my gaming group, Eric Hindley, sometimes writes for Raging Swan and other third party publishers who make materials for the Pathfinder RPG.

I didn't know RagingSwanGames at all, but thanks for the advice. I will definitely contact them ... once I see the light at the end of the tunnel
I've been contacted for commissions lately but I must confess that I don't have the time at the moment for that kind of extra money :/

Besides, my motivation goes with Midnight. I've got quite a few ideas to share and I would love to give inspiration to Alwyn or Kane for writing some material!

I'm sad too 
I haven't been much in touch with him lately unfortunately. I did some illustrations for one or two adventures of him and I really appreciated our discussion and exchanges. I do contact him from time to time though and, in fact, I take this very post as an opportunity to send him our wish for a comeback!

Hi Dain,

I really like your wondrous map of Eredane. Since I guess it is originally a multilayered photoshop file, could you post a map which would only show the "known" landmarks (i.e. the human cities and settlements as opposed to dwarven / elven cities and villages or special places like Brahaman's Balm or other magical sites)

If I may ask, which font/size did you use for the place names ? (if I ever want to defile your masterpiece by adding some personal landmarks  )

Another question: where do the places marked in the northernmost corner of the map come from? (Hoarl, Invurin)
